An oscillation suppression resonator suppresses oscillations of a large oscillating mass in paper machine winding devices. A support device is connected with the large oscillating mass and a predetermined oscillation suppression means is movably arranged as the support device. Cylinders, which can be filled with gas or fluid, are firmly attached to the support device. The pistons of the cylinders are connected via piston rods with the mass movable on the support device. In this manner, upon deflection of the mass from an equilibrium position, a substantially harmonic oscillation takes place with a frequency which is determined by the pressure prevailing on the cylinder. The oscillation suppression resonator is employed particularly in a device for winding traveling webs of material, particularly paper webs, so as to form a roll.
Un résonateur de suppression des oscillations supprime les oscillations d'une grande masse oscillante dans les dispositifs enrouleurs d'une machine à papier. Un dispositif d'appui est raccordé à la grande masse oscillante et un moyen prédéterminé de suppression des oscillations est arrangé de façon amovible pour constituer le dispositif d'appui.Des cylindres, qui peuvent être remplis de gaz ou autre fluide, sont solidement fixés au dispositif d'appui. Les pistons des cylindres sont raccordés au moyen de bielles à la masse mobile sur le dispositif d'appui. Ainsi, quand la masse dévie de sa position d'équilibre, une oscillation substantiellement harmonique est produite dont la fréquence est déterminée par la pression prévalant sur le cylindre. Le résonateur de suppression des oscillations est employé en particulier dans un dispositif pour mettre en rouleau des bandes continues de matériau, notamment des bandes de papier.
