ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A process for detecting a defrosting, even temporary, of products, wherein an aqueous saline solution is kept sepa- rate from a colouring agent by a diaphragm which is broken, at the moment of freezing, by effect of the increase in volume of the solution. The solution, which has been chosen according to the eutectic point thereof, dissolves when the temperature reaches a pre-determined value, allowing thus the diffusion of the colouring agent in the solution. There are also described devices, for effecting said process.
