ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method for producing exchanges on the water of reservoirs used for storing radioactive substances, wherein the said exchanges are conducted by means of autonomous units immersed in the said reservoirs and wherein the water of the said reservoirs is caused to flow through the said units by known devices at low or average pressure. The invention also relates to the autonomous exchange units.
