The invention concerns a method for continuous dip coating of a metal strip (1) in a tank (11) containing a liquid metal bath (12) method which consists in continuously unwinding the metal strip (1) in a sheath (13) whereof the lower part is immersed in the liquid metal bath (12) to define with the surface of said bath a liquid seal (14); at the zone outputting the strip (1) from the liquid metal bath (12), isolating the liquid metal relative to the surface of said bath in an isolating chamber (12) and in recuperating the metal oxide particles and intermetallic compounds by circulating the liquid metal in said zone in said chamber (20) and extracting said particles from said chamber (20). The invention also concerns an installation for implementing the method.
L'invention a pour objet un procédé de revêtement au trempé en continu d'une bande métallique (1) dans une cuve (11) contenant un bain de métal (12) liquide, procédé dans lequel on fait défiler en continu la bande métallique (1) dans une gaine (13) dont la partie inférieure est immergée dans le bain de métal (12), liquide pour déterminer avec la surface dudit bain un joint d'étanchéité (14) liquide. Au niveau de la zone de sortie de la bande (1) du bain de métal liquide (12) on isole le métal liquide par rapport à la surface dudit bain dans une enceinte (20) d'isolement et on récupère les particules d'oxydes de métal et de composés intermétalliques par écoulement du métal liquide de cette zone dans ladite enceinte (20) et on extrait lesdites particules de cette enceinte (20). L'invention a également pour objet une installation pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé.
