The invention concerns a method and an installation for eliminating metal cations contained in a liquid, which consists in contacting said liquid, at a temperature not less than 60 DEG C, with a chelating ion-exchanging resin consisting of a polyazacycloalkane grafted on a solid support, said resin having been previously conditioned to be contacted at a pH of 4 to 6.
L'invention est relative à un procédé et une installation d'élimination des cations métalliques contenus dans un liquide, dans lequel ledit liquide est mis en contact, à une température supérieure ou égale à 60°C, avec une résine échangeuse d'ions chélatante constituée d'un polyazacycloalcane greffé sur un support solide, ladite résine ayant été conditionnée préalablement à ladite mise en contact à un pH de 4 à 6.
