- 39 - ABSTRACT (i) A method for immunologically measuring the propeptide of osteocalcin in an inspection sample by a sandwich method, wherein as the antibody linked to the insoluble carrier (the first antibody) and the labeled antibody (the second antibody) are used antibodies speci- fically recognizing the propeptide of osteocalcin, and a kit therefor, (ii) a method for immunologically measuring proosteocalcin in an inspection sample by a sandwich method, wherein any one of the antibody linked to the insoluble carrier (the first antibody) and the labeled antibody (the second antibody) is an antibody specifi- cally recognizing the propeptide of osteocalcin, and the other is an antibody specifically recognizing oste- ocalcin; and a kit therefor, and (iii) a method for immunologically measuring the total quantity of the propeptide of osteocalcin and proosteocalcin in an inspection sample by a competition method, wherein as the antibody to be linked to the insoluble carrier or the insolubilizable antibody is used an antibody specifically recognizing the propeptide of osteocalcin.
