A B S T R A C T A method and machine of transferring bulk material using a tubular endless belt in the desired height and direc- tion are disclosed. The bulk material is loaded into a normally pipe-shaped flexible tubular endless belt opened at a loading point, and then the bulk material transferred by the pipe-formed tubular belt to an unloading point is discharged from the opened belt at the unloading point. The belt is supported by support frames disposed at selected intervals along the belt, supporting support rollers arranged radially around the belt in contact therewith. The support frames may be arranged in pairs, each pair comprising first and second support frames and the support rollers of the two frames are arranged alternately around the belt with respect to one another so as to support the pipe-formed belt exactly.
