A method of providing a container for goods with a refrigeration facility, which method includes placing in gaseous communication with the interior of the container, a holder for holding carbon dioxide snow, which holder or a continuous wall region thereof constituting at least about 15% of the total wall area of the holder, is of a flexible material that is at least substantially impermeable to the carbon dioxide snow and permeable to gaseous carbon dioxide.
