ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a method and apparatus for making straps from a plurality of parallel and closely adjacent yarns, which are glued together. The yarns are soaked in glue and brought together to from a strap which is dried and rolled up. The method and apparatus are characterized by the fact that the strap is fried under a slight tension while being guided in a generally horizontal direction and a slightly arcuate path a small distance beneath a radio frequency drier, which produces a downwardly-directed power transmission field. The central portion of the arcuate path is disposed at a higher level than the terminal portions of the game.
