A B S T R A C T METHOD AND MEANS FOR WATERFLOODING A HYDROCARBON FLUID CONTAINING PERMEABLE FORMATION BELOW A BODY OF WATER The invention relates to a method and means for water- flooding a hydrocarbon fluid containing permeable formation below a body of water by means of water from the body of water. For filtering purposes the water is passed from the body of water through a sandy top layer on the bottom of the body of water prior to being injected into an injection well penetrating the formation.
