A method of manufacturing a cold-rolled, galvanized and pickled metal strip include the steps of treating a hot-rolled initial strip by first pickling, then cold rolling and subsequently galvanizing the strip, wherein the strip is cold-rolled and galvanized continuously and successively in a continuous treatment line. In the plant for carrying out the method, at least one reducing stand is arranged between the pickling unit and the galvanizing unit of a treatment plant.
