A method using auto-oxidation of an anthraquinone derivative in three successive steps, comprising hydrogenating the working solution (at 1), oxidising the hydrogenated working solution (at 2), and removing hydrogen peroxide using water (at 3). The hydrogenation step is performed in such a way that a hydrogen peroxide equivalent of around 7-9 g/l is achieved at the inlet of the oxidiser (2), and the oxidation step (b) is performed in such a way that the temperature at the top of the oxidiser (2) is below about 50 °C, and preferably around 35-40 °C. The method is useful for producing hydrogen peroxide in situ in a paper pulp bleaching plant.
Ce procédé utilise la technique d'auto-oxydation d'un dérivé anthraquinonique, avec ses trois étapes successives d'hydrogénation de la solution de travail (en 1), d'oxydation de la solution de travail hydrogénée (en 2), et d'extraction à l'eau du peroxyde d'hydrogène (en 3). On conduit l'étape d'hydrogénation de manière à obtenir à l'entrée de l'oxydeur (2) un équivalent peroxyde d'hydrogène compris entre 7 et 9 g/l environ, et on conduit l'étape (b) d'oxydation à une température qui, au sommet de l'oxydeur (2), est inférieure à 50 ~C environ, et de préférence comprise entre 35 et 40 ~C environ. Application à la production de peroxyde d'hydrogène sur le site d'une installation de blanchiment de pâte à papier.
