The invention relates to a method for the production of images with high resolution in jacquard fabric comprising the following steps: colour scanning of an output image to be reproduced on a fabric, video visualisation of said image with the largest number of colours possible with the means employed for said visualisation. The invention is characterised in that the method comprises further steps: selection of a number of base colours to be used for forming said image on said fabric, said number of base colours is related to the number of warp and weft threads which may be used in the loom and which are to be applied in the weaving of said fabric, reducing the original colours of the output image to a number of reduced colours which it is possible to produce by mixing the base colours of the warp and weft threads.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire des images de haute résolution sur des tissus Jacquard. Ce procédé consiste à balayer les couleurs d'une image initiale devant être reproduite sur un tissu et à effectuer une visualisation vidéo de ladite image avec le plus grand nombre possible de couleurs, à l'aide des moyens utilisés pour ladite visualisation vidéo. Cette invention se caractérise en ce que ledit procédé comprend également d'autres étapes, à savoir : la sélection d'un nombre de couleurs de base à utiliser pour reproduire ladite image sur le tissu, ce nombre de couleurs de base étant relatif au nombre de fils de trame et de chaîne utilisés dans la machine à tisser et pour le tissage du tissu, et la réduction des couleurs originales de l'image initiale à un nombre de couleurs réduites pouvant être obtenues en mélangeant les couleurs de base des fils de trame et de chaîne.
