The invention concerns a method and an optic-fiber measuring device comprising a light source of luminous intensity P, a Sagnac ring interferometer wherein two counter-propagating waves are propagated, a sensor receiving a light flux from the interferometer and converting it into an electric signal representing the total phase difference .delta..PHI.t between the counter-propagating waves. It further comprises electronic means receiving the electric signal of the sensor and delivering a first signal S1 based on the measured parameter. The electronic means comprise a demodulator contributing to the delivery of the first signal based on the measured parameter and deliver a second signal S2 based on the intensity of the light flux. According to the invention, the optical phase modulator generates a disturbance component .delta..PHI.cp which is added to the phase difference .delta..PHI.m = .delta..PHI.b + .delta..PHI.cr.
L'invention concerne un procede et. un dispositif de mesure a fibre optique comportant une source de iumiere de puissance lumineuse P, un interferometre en anneau de Sagnac dans lequel se propagent deux ondes contrapropagatives, un detecteur recevant un flux lumineux de I'interferometre et Ie convertissant en un signal electrique representant Ia difference de phase totale .delta..phi.t entre les ondes contra-propagatives. Il comporte egalement des moyens electroniques recevant Ie signal electrique du detecteur et fournissant un premier signal Si fonction du parametre mesure. Lesdits moyens electroniques comportent un demodulateur contribuant a Ia fourniture du premier signal fonction du parametre mesure et foumissent un deuxieme signal S2 fonction de Ia puissance P du flux lumineux mesure par Ie detecteur. Selon I'invention, Ie modulateur de phase optique genere une composante de perturbation .delta..phi.cp s'ajoutant a Ia difference de phase .delta..phi.m = .delta..phi.b + .delta..phi.cr comprenam? une composante de mise au biais.delta. .phi.. et une composante de contre-reaction5 .phi. .
