A METHOD AND PROCEDURE FOR ON-LINE MEASUREMENT OF FLUID PROPERTIES FOR CONTROL AND OPTIMIZATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of on-line measurement of fluid properties is disclosed. The temperature range and pressure range to which the fluid might be exposed is divided into pre- determined subregions. The actual temperature and pressure of the fluid determines the subregion which is utilized. The subregion that is utilized provides temperature and correction factors which are combined with a reference value of the fluid property being measured to determine the actual value of the fluid property.
