This invention is directed to improved treatment for glaucoma. It involves delivering to the eye molecules which increase the outflow of aqueous humor, in conjunction with masking agents. The masking agents reduce the side effects of the therapeuti- cally active molecules by masking the sulfhydryl reactive groups on the molecules. The masking agents can be delivered separate- ly from the molecules, or as adducts of the molecules.
