A method of providing a recording service is disclosed. The method includes receiving a recording recommendation list from a broadcasting station server, outputting a predetermined recording program guide by using the received recording recommendation list, receiving information concerning a program selected in the recording program guide, and recording the selected program. Since the method provides the recording recommendation list, a user may select easily a program to be recorded.
