The invention relates to a method and a sensor for determining the hydrocarbon dew point in a gas, in particular in a gaseous fuel. According to the invention a roughened condensation surface is provided on a planar measurement surface of a transparent body. Light is shone onto the roughened condensation surface through the transparent body and the intensity of the light reflected back into the transparent body is measured. The hydrocarbon dew point temperature can be inferred from changes in the intensity of the light which is reflected back when heating or cooling the condensation surface.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un capteur servant à déterminer le point de rosée d'un hydrocarbure dans un gaz, en particulier dans un combustible gazeux. Une surface de condensation rugosifiée est disposée selon l'invention sur la surface de mesure planaire d'un corps transparent. La surface de condensation rugosifiée est éclairée par de la lumière à travers le corps transparent et l'intensité de la lumière réfléchie dans le corps transparent est mesurée. Les changements de l'intensité lumineuse réfléchie lorsque l'on chauffe ou que l'on refroidit la surface de condensation permet de déduire le point de rosée de l'hydrocarbure.
