A method serving the purpose of spraying a crop with a plant protective liquid. The liquid is sent out in the shape of a number of clouds (10) of atomized liquid in the direction of the crop (11) via a number of liquid nozzles (9) placed on a sprayer boom (8) which, at the same time, is driven across the crop (11). The nozzles (9) are adjusted to put each atomized liquid cloud (10) into whirling movement. The whirls (10) created thereby are stiff and stable against drifting. The liquid whirls (10) can be supported by a curtain of air whirls (14). By means of the method and the sprayer boom according to the invention, a crop can be sprayed efficiently with a minimum use of crop spray.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'épandage par vaporisation de liquides phyto-protecteurs sur des cultures. Le liquide est expulsé sous forme de nuages (10) de liquide atomisé en direction de la récolte (11) par une série de buses (9) placées sur des bras de pulvérisation (8) alors qu'ils parcourent la récolte (11). Les buses (9) sont réglées pour imprimer aux différents nuages (10) de liquide atomisé un mouvement tourbillonnaire. Les tourbillons (10) ainsi produits sont serrés et peu enclins à la dérive. Lesdits tourbillons (10) peuvent être portés par un rideau de tourbillons d'air (14). Ce procédé et les bras d'épandage, objets de l'invention, permettent de traiter efficacement par vaporisation les récoltes avec un minimum de produit.
