A method and system for supplying electrically conductive coating materials to an electrostatic dispenser with a parallel arrangement of subsystems selectably coupled to the dispenser by a four-port system voltage blocking valve, which electrically isolates the subsystems. The subsystems each include first and second piston cylinders that alternatingly receive a selected coating material from a corresponding manifold and supply the coating material to the dispenser by a subsystem voltageblocking valve, which isolates the dispenser from the manifold, when coupled to the dispenser. The first and second piston cylinders of each subsystem also alternatingly receive a solvent from the corresponding manifold and direct the solvent to a waste receptacle by a corresponding subsystem voltage blocking valve when the subsystem is not coupled to the dispenser. The solvent removes previously supplied coating material from the non-selected subsystem and readies the non-selected subsystem for supplying a next selected coating material to the dispenser.
Méthode et système pour l'alimentation en matériaux de revêtement conducteurs, d'un distributeur électrostatique, avec arrangement parallèle de sous-systèmes couplés de manière sélective au distributeur par une soupape de coupure de tension à quatre voies, qui isole les sous-systèmes. Ces sous-systèmes comportent chacun un premier et un deuxième cylindres qui reçoivent en alternance un revêtement sélectionné de matériau de revêtement à partir de la rampe de distribution correspondante, et qui fournissent le matériau de revêtement au distributeur par l'intermédiaire d'une soupape d'arrêt de tension, qui, lorsqu'elle est couplée au distributeur, isole ce dernier de la rampe de distribution. Le premier et le deuxième cylindres de chaque sous-système reçoivent en alternance un solvant du distributeur correspondant et dirigent le solvant vers un récipient à déchets par une soupape de sous-système correspondante de coupure de tension lorsque le sous-système n'est pas couplé au distributeur. Le solvant décape, des sous-systèmes non sélectionnés, le matériau de revêtement précédemment fourni et prépare les sous-systèmes non sélectionnés en vue de l'alimentation, au distributeur, de la prochaine quantité sélectionnée de matériau de revêtement.
