A three-dimensional (3-D) capture method and system having a 3-D contour capture device (5) for capturing a surface contour of an object, a contoured support device (20) for placing between the surface and the 3-D contour capture device that provides additional support to at least a portion of the surface, wherein a first contour captured (25) by the 3-D contour capture device is modified based on a second contour captured support device placed between the surface and the 3-D contour capture device to provide a resultant 3-D contour.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de capture tridimensionnelle (3D) faisant intervenir un dispositif de capture de contour 3D destiné à capturer un contour de surface d'un objet, ainsi qu'un dispositif de support de contour destiné à être placé entre la surface et le dispositif de capture de contour de sorte à fournir un support additionnel à une partie au moins de la surface. Un premier contour capturé par le dispositif de capture de contour 3D est modifié sur la base d'un second contour capturé au moyen du dispositif de support de contour placé entre la surface et le dispositif de capture de contour 3D, d'où l'obtention d'un contour 3D résultant.
