A computer-implemented method and system for compiling demographic data is provided. This comprises maintaining in a computer, having a memory, a database of demographic data about existing and/or prospective customers, and interactions between customers and merchants; updating the database with data about new interactions between customers and merchants; retrieving from the database demographic data about existing and/or prospective customers; and generating a report on demographic data about existing and/or prospective customers.
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un système informatiques qui permettent de compiler des données démographiques. Ce procédé fait appel à un ordinateur comportant une mémoire, et consiste à tenir dans ce dernier une base de données qui contient des données démographiques sur des clients existants et/ou potentiels ainsi que sur les interactions entre clients et vendeurs. La base de données est remise à jour à l'aide de données concernant de nouvelles interactions entre les clients et les vendeurs. On extrait ensuite de cette base de données les données démographiques concernant des clients existants et/ou potentiels, après quoi on génère un rapport sur les données démographiques concernant les clients susmentionnés.
