A communication system (100) including an automatic gain control (AGC) circuit (105), a receiver (110), an analog to digital converter (ADC) (115) and an insertion phase variation compensation module (120) . The AGC circuit (105) receives and amplifies communication signals (150). The gain of the AGC circuit (105) is adjusted. The AGC circuit (105) outputs an amplified signal to the receiver (110) which, in turn, outputs an analog complex signal to the ADC (115). The ADC (115) outputs a digital complex signal to the insertion phase variation compensation module (120) which counteracts the effects of phase offsets introduced into the communication signals (150) due to the continuous gain adjustments associated with the AGC circuit (105).

La présente invention concerne un système de communication (100) comprenant un circuit de commande automatique (AGC) (105), un récepteur (110), un convertisseur analogique numérique (ADC) (115) et un module d'insertion de compensation de variation de phase (120). Ce circuit AGC reçoit et amplifie des signaux de communication (150). Le gain de ce circuit AGC est continuellement réglé. Le circuit AGC produit en sortie un signal amplifié (145) vers le récepteur qui, à son tour, produit en sortie un signal complexe analogique vers le convertisseur ADC (115). Le convertisseur ADC produit en sortie un signal complexe numérique vers un module d'insertion de compensation de variation de phase (120) qui compense les effets des décalages de phase introduits dans le signal de communication du fait des réglages de gain continus associés à ce circuit AGC.
