Hot gas, produced in a thermal reactor (1), can be cooled in a cylindrical cooling reactor (4) by leading the gas tangentially into the evaporative cooler through and inlet duct (2) whereby the gas perform a rotary movement in the evaporative cooler, and by injection water droplets into the gas at one or more injection zones (3) in such an amount and in such a way that the gas temperature due to water evaporation is reduced to below 400°C. The dry cooled gas can now leave the reactor through the outlet duct (5) and be cleaned for particles in a dry filter (7) and energy can be recovered in a condensing unit (8). Hereby, a compact cooling, cleaning and energy recovery system is obtained, which is cheap and simple and has low maintenance costs, and which moreover has a high efficiency degree and good environmental qualities. The method can be used for a broad spectrum of fuels and conversion technologies.
Selon la présente invention, un gaz chaud produit dans un réacteur thermique (1) peut être refroidi dans un réacteur de refroidissement cylindrique (4) en amenant le gaz de manière tangentielle dans un refroidisseur par évaporation par lintermédiaire dune conduite dadmission (2), le gaz effectuant alors un mouvement de rotation dans le refroidisseur par évaporation, et en injectant des gouttelettes deau dans le gaz au niveau dune ou de plusieurs zones dinjection (3) selon une quantité et une manière telles que la température du gaz est réduite grâce à lévaporation deau et descend en dessous de 400°C. Le gaz refroidi et sec quitte alors le réacteur par lintermédiaire de la conduite de sortie (5) et peut être nettoyé déventuelles particules dans un filtre sec (7), et lénergie peut être récupérée dans une unité de condensation (8). Il est ainsi possible dobtenir un système compact de refroidissement, de nettoyage et de récupération dénergie, ledit système étant peu onéreux et simple, demandant de faibles coûts dentretien, et possédant de plus un degré élevé defficacité et de bonnes qualités environnementales. Le procédé de linvention peut être utilisé dans un large spectre de technologies liées aux carburants et à la conversion.
