A method for data transfer for various applications between an on board unit (OBU), which comprises a processor, memory means and at least one interface to an external entity. A sequence of commands is exchanged over the interface and processed by the OBU in order to perform the respective task according to the application of the OBU and/or the external entity. The system for data transfer comprises a macm interpreter in the OBU to receive and interpret the macros from one of its interfaces.

Procédé de transfert de données pour différentes applications entre une entité externe et une unité embarquée (OBU) comportant un processeur, des moyens de mémoire et au moins une interface. Une séquence d'instructions est échangée par l'intermédiaire de l'interface et traitée par l'OBU, permettant la réalisation de l'opération correspondante en fonction de l'application de l'OBU et/ou de l'entité externe. Le système de transfert de données comporte un interpréteur de macros prévu dans l'OBU pour recevoir et interpréter les macros provenant de l'une de ses interfaces.
