A method is provided whereby the user can view and interact with live, realtime 3D content using just a web browser, requiring no extra downloads or third party 3D plugins. The invention uses W3C standard bitmap formats, typically JPEG or PNG, as the delivery vehicle for server side rendered 3D content. The invention provides a 3D rendering application that runs on a web server and responds to commands from the user's web browser to manipulate, re-render and deliver new 3D rendered scenes back to the users' browser. The invention preferably uses Ajax - Asynchronous Javascript and XML to create the client side Web 3D scene manipulation tool set.
L'invention concerne un procédé au moyen duquel l'utilisateur peut visualiser et interagir avec un contenu tridimensionnel en temps réel, en direct à l'aide juste d'un navigateur Web, ne demandant aucun téléchargement supplémentaire ou aucun module d'extension tridimensionnel tiers. L'invention utilise des formats en mode point standard W3C, généralement JPEG ou PNG, en guise de véhicule d'acheminement pour un contenu tridimensionnel rendu du côté serveur. L'invention concerne une application de rendu tridimensionnel qui fonctionne sur un serveur Web et répond à des commandes du navigateur Web de l'utilisateur pour manipuler, rendre de nouveau et renvoyer de nouvelles scènes rendues tridimensionnelles au navigateur de l'utilisateur. L'invention utilise de préférence Ajax - Javascript et XML asynchrones pour créer l'ensemble d'outils de manipulation de scènes tridimensionnelles Web du côté client.
