A method and system for the reception, conversion and distribution of wireless communication signals received from such communication devices as PCS, Cellular, and Satellite over AC power lines commonly found within a building, office, home or other structure (101) is disclosed. This invention specifically provides for the distribution of wireless signals in structures where otherwise signal degradation and/or blockage are common. Moreover, this invention takes advantage of the existing AC power lines to create a communication channel avoiding the necessity of rewiring the building or other structure. This invention provides important improvements to the signal coverage and reception of wireless transmitted signals within buildings and other structures (101) and does so in an efficient and cost effective manner.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un système de réception, conversion et distribution de signaux de télécommunications sans fil émanant de dispositifs de communication tels que des réseaux privés, des réseaux cellulaires, ou des satellites, par l'intermédiaire de lignes électriques c.a. existant dans les immeubles, les villas, les bureaux etc. (101), et en particulier sur la distribution desdits signaux dans des structures ou sinon la dégradation et/ou l'interruption des signaux est fréquente. Ce recours aux lignes électriques existantes comme canaux de communications évite le recâblage des bâtiments ou autres structures. L'invention apporte d'importantes améliorations en matière de couverture et de réception des signaux transmis sans fils, et cela de manière efficace et économique.
