A method and system for establishing a secure over-the-air (OTA) connection between a connection owner and a server, the connection owner being associated with a wireless device connected to the server via a communications network. A secure session is instantiated on behalf of the connection owner, the secure session being maintained by the server and defining a context for the secure OTA connection. A registration key and a reset key are defined, and stored in association with the secure session on both the server and the wireless device. Access to the secure session is controlled using at least the registration key, and the secure session is maintained on the server only as long as the connection owner has a valid registration key.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système destinés à établir une connexion sécurisée hertzienne( OTA) entre un serveur et un utilisateur ayant lancé la connexion, lequel utilisateur est associé à un dispositif sans fil connecté au serveur via un réseau de communications. Une session sécurisée est instanciée pour le compte de l'utilisateur ayant lancé la connexion, la session sécurisée étant maintenue par le serveur et définissant un contexte pour la connexion OTA sécurisée. Une clé d'enregistrement et une clé de remise à zéro sont définies et stockées en association avec la session sécurisée sur le serveur et le dispositif sans fil. L'accès à la session sécurisée est contrôlé à l'aide d'au moins une clé d'enregistrement, et la session sécurisée n'est maintenue sur le serveur que tant que l'utilisateur ayant lancé la connexion dispose d'une clé d'enregistrement valide.
