The present inventiondiscloses a method and system for establishing VoIP communication by means of digital video broadcasting network. The methodcomprises: a first terminal sending a VoIP call request to a source VoIP server to which the first terminal belongs, the VoIP callrequest containing an address of a second terminal; the source VoIP server forwarding the VoIP call request to a destination VoIP server to which the second terminal belongs; the first terminal or any one of VoIP servers in a forwarding path from the source VoIP server to the destination VoIP server forwarding the VoIP call request to a digital video broadcasting front-end server; the digital video broadcasting front-end server converting the VoIP call request into a call request modulated in digital videosignals and broadcasting it within the digital video broadcasting network.The method and system for establishing VoIP communication by means of digital video broadcasting network according to the present invention can receive the VoIP call and accordingly establish the VoIP communication even if the terminal, for example a DVB/IP combo set-top-box, is disconnected to the IP network. Moreover, the present invention can be implemented conveniently and has lower cost.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système pour établir une communication de voix sur IP (VoIP) au moyen d'un réseau de diffusion de vidéo numérique (DVB). Le procédé comporte les étapes suivantes : un premier terminal envoie une requête d'appel par VoIP à un serveur de VoIP source auquel le premier terminal appartient, la requête d'appel par VoIP contenant l'adresse d'un second terminal; par VoIP, le serveur source transfère la requête d'appel par VoIP à un serveur de VoIP de destination auquel appartient le second terminal; dans un trajet de transfert du serveur de VoIP source au serveur de VoIP de destination, le premier terminal ou l'un quelconque des serveurs de VoIP transfère la requête d'appel par VoIP à un serveur frontal de diffusion de vidéo numérique; le serveur frontal de diffusion de vidéo numérique convertit la requête d'appel par VoIP en une requête d'appel modulée en des signaux de vidéo numérique et la diffuse dans le réseau de diffusion de vidéo numérique. Le procédé et le système pour établir une communication par VoIP au moyen d'un réseau de diffusion de vidéo numérique décrits par la présente invention peuvent recevoir l'appel par VoIP et, par conséquent, établir la communication par VoIP même si le terminal, par exemple un boîtier décodeur combo DVB/IP, est déconnecté du réseau IP. De plus, la présente invention peut être mise en AEuvre de façon pratique et à un moindre coût.
