A text message order processing system includes receiving text messages from consumers purchasing products from one or more merchants, parsing each text message to extract the identification of the product being purchased and the device from which the text message was sent, selecting based upon each received text message a payment Instrument to be used to pay for the purchase, establishing payment information related to the selected payment instrument and delivery information indicating where the purchased product is to be delivered, generating for each received message an order including the established payment information, delivery information and identification of the product being purchased, and submitting the generated order to an order management system of the merchant.
La présente invention a trait à un système de traitement de messages textuels comportant: un moyen pour la réception de messages textuels provenant de consommateurs achetant des produits depuis un ou des marchands, chacun des messages textuels étant destiné à une adresse sélectionnée par le consommateur et comprenant une identification du produit acheté et une identification du dispositif à partir duquel le message textuel a été envoyé; un moyen pour l'analyse de chaque message textuel pour l'extraction de l'identification du produit et l'identification du dispositif à partir duquel le message textuel a été envoyé; un moyen pour la sélection en fonction de chaque message textuel reçu d'un instrument de paiement à utiliser pour le paiement de l'achat; un moyen pour l'établissement d'information de paiement associée à l'instrument de paiement sélectionné et une information de livraison indiquant où le produit acheté doit être livré; un moyen pour la génération pour chaque message textuel reçu d'une commande comprenant l'information de paiement établie, l'information de livraison et l'identification du produit acheté; et un moyen pour la soumission d'une commande générée à un système de gestion de commandes du marchand.
