A computer-implemented method (100) for facilitating a negotiation for at least one item or service for at least one user. The method includes dynamically adjusting the duration of at least one phase of the negotiation and/or the offer price of the item or service based at least in part upon data (22) that is existing or obtained during the at least one phase of the negotiation. A negotiation system (50) and negotiation control interfaces are also disclosed.
