A method and a system for generating an electronic signature file are described. A user prints and signs a template having an ID code thereon, and transmits the template by fax to a processing unit. The ID code is made available to the processing unit which uses it to authenticate the template. The signature on the template is transmitted back to the user and encrypted so that only the user has access to it.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de générer un fichier de signatures électronique. Un utilisateur imprime et signe un modèle possédant un code ID, et transmet le modèle par fax à une unité de traitement. Le code ID est accessible à l'unité de traitement qui l'utilise pour authentifier le modèle. La signature se trouvant sur le modèle est retransmise à l'utilisateur, puis encodée de sorte que seul l'utilisateur puisse y accéder.
