Method and system for information association based on an absolute position coding pattern comprising dots or markings which codes coordinates for a position on an imaginary surface. The imaginary surface comprises several regions which are divided in areas, each defined by said coordinates. Hand- written information is digitized by a handheld device which is moved over a surface provided with said pattern and acts like a pen to make notes on the surface. At the same time, the pattern is sensed and coordinates for the pen is calculated regularly. By passing the handheld device over the borderline between areas having different coordinates, a hyperline is generated having a discontinuity. Such a hyperline is easily recognized by the computer system and is used for connecting information at different areas, giving information some properties, like color, or performing an action on the information, such as encryption, or transferring the information to a recipient.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système pour l'association d'informations selon un motif de codage de position absolue, constitué de points ou de repères codant les coordonnées pour une position sur une surface imaginaire. Ladite surface imaginaire comprend plusieurs régions divisées en zones définies chacune par lesdites coordonnées. Les informations manuscrites sont numérisées par un dispositif à main qui est déplacé sur une surface possédant ledit motif et qui agit comme un crayon pour la prise de notes sur la surface. Simultanément, le motif est détecté et les coordonnées pour le crayon sont calculées régulièrement. Par le passage du dispositif à main sur la ligne limite entre les zones possédant différentes coordonnées, une hyperligne discontinue est générée. Ladite hyperligne est reconnue facilement par le système informatique et est utilisée pour relier des informations au niveau de différentes zones, pour donner des informations sur certaines propriétés, telles que la couleur, ou pour procéder à une opération sur les informations telle que le chiffrage ou le transfert des informations à un destinataire.
