Location information of a mobile station located on an object is managed by a server in a mobile network. The server obtains and stores correspondingly object identifying information for identifying the object and mobile identifying information for identifying said mobile station. Object movement information of said object identified by the object identifying information is obtained from a traffic control device which controls movement of said object. The movement information is converted into a location area information. Location of said mobile station is managed on the basis of said location area information.
