A method and system for managing a body area network using a coordinator device. The method includes acquiring a medical implant communication service (MICS) channel by an MICS transceiver in the coordinator device. The method also includes sending a signal, indicative of a wake-up process, in a non-MICS channel to an implant device and a command signal, indicative of joining a piconet, by the MICS transceiver to an implant device. Further, the method also includes receiving an acknowledgement signal by the MICS transceiver of the coordinator device based on the sending of the command signal to the implant device. The acknowledgement signal comprises a security control field. Furthermore, the method includes initiating security procedures based on the security control field. Further, the method also includes exchanging data between the coordinator device and the implant device based on the initiating and disassociating the implant device by sending a command message.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un système de gestion d'un réseau corporel utilisant un dispositif coordinateur. Le procédé comprend l'acquisition d'un canal de service de communication d'implant médical (MICS) par un émetteur/récepteur MICS dans le dispositif coordinateur. Le procédé comprend également l'envoi dans un canal non-MICS d'un signal indicatif d'un processus de réveil à un dispositif d'implant et l'envoi par l'émetteur-récepteur MICS à un dispositif d'implant d'un signal d'instruction indicatif de la liaison avec un pico-réseau. En outre, le procédé comprend également la réception d'un signal d'accusé de réception par l'émetteur/récepteur MICS du dispositif coordinateur, sur la base de l'envoi du signal d'instruction au dispositif d'implant. Le signal d'accusé de réception comprend un champ de commande de sécurité. De plus, le procédé comprend l'initiation de procédures de sécurité sur la base du champ de commande de sécurité. En outre, le procédé comprend également l'échange de données entre le dispositif coordinateur et le dispositif d'implant, sur la base de l'initiation et de la dissociation du dispositif d'implant, au moyen de l'envoi d'un message d'instruction.
