A method of manufacturing a device having a first elastomeric portion (200) and a second elastomeric portion (204), the second elastomeric portion being formed into a non-planar shape, i.e., a vaginal discharge collection device (214) that is formed of an elastomeric rim (200) and a flexible film reservoir (202). The method includes the steps of loading a rim (200) into a carrier plate (16), laying film (204) over the rim, heat sealing the film to the rim, preheating the rim and film, drawing the film into a chamber by creating a vacuum to form the collector, and removing the collector from the carrier plate.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet de fabriquer un dispositif constitué d'une première partie élastomère (200) et d'une seconde partie élastomère (204), la seconde partie ayant une forme non plane. Le procédé permet notamment de fabriquer un dispositif collecteur (214) permettant de recueillir les écoulements vaginaux, qui comprend un anneau élastomère (200) et un réservoir (202) formé d'un film flexible. Selon le procédé, on place un anneau (200) dans une plaque support (16), on applique le film (204) sur l'anneau, on réunit par soudage thermique le film et l'anneau, on chauffe l'anneau et le film, on étire le film dans une chambre en créant une aspiration, de façon à former le dispositif collecteur, et on sort ce dernier de la plaque support.
