A method and system for monitoring market data. The method includes collecting real time data that is related to conditions of a trading market. Collection occurs at an edge server associated with a liquidity destination trading at least one financial article of trade. In addition, the real time data that is collected is also normalized into a standard form. A user defined criteria is received from a centralized hub. The user defined criteria defines a particular event in the condition. It is then determined when a condition in the trading market matches the event. A response is generated providing notification of the occurrence of the event. The response is sent to the centralized hub for distribution to a user associated with the user defined criteria. L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de surveillance de données de marché. Le procédé consiste à collecter des données en temps réel concernant les conditions d'un marché d'échange. La collecte se produit au niveau d'un serveur périphérique associé à une destination de liquidité commercialisant au moins un article financier d'échange commercial. Les données en temps réel collectées sont, de plus, également normalisées sous forme standard. Des critères définis par l'utilisateur sont reçus d'un raccordement centralisé. Les critères définis par l'utilisateur définissent un évènement particulier d'une condition. Le procédé consiste alors à déterminer lorsqu'une condition du marché d'échange correspond à l'évènement. Une réponse est générée, fournissant une notification de l'occurence de l'évènement. La réponse est envoyée au raccordement centralisé pour être distribuée à un utilisateur associé aux critères définis par l'utilisateur.
