A method and system are disclosed for moving equipment into and through a conduit that is preferably an oil and/or gas production well, wherein use is made of an uphole equipment storage and handling unit via which equipment modules can be moved into a launch conduit and connected to a shuttle device which is able to locomote itself as a wireless tractor via the launch conduit into and from the underlying conduit.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de déplacer un équipement à l'intérieur et au travers d'un conduit, qui est de préférence un puits de production de pétrole et/ou de gaz. Selon cette invention, on utilise à la tête du puits une unité destinée à stocker et à manipuler ledit équipement, cette unité permettant de déplacer des modules d'équipement dans un conduit de lancement afin de raccorder ceux-ci à un dispositif mobile capable de servir de tracteur sans fil pour traverser ledit conduit de lancement et aller et venir dans le conduit sous-jacent.
