A system and method of processing an order for delivery of an item into a locked enclosure that may be opened by an entry code. Under the control of a client system an entry code to unlock the locked enclosure is obtained or generated. The entry code is sent to a server system as a part of the process of requesting delivery of the item into the locked enclosure. A component of the server system receives the code and transmits the code to a deliverer to enable the deliverer to deliver the item into the locked enclosure.
