ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING THE PREECHOS OF AN AUDIO-DIGITAL SIGNAL CODED BY FREQUENCY TRANSFORMATION The invention relates to a method and a system for processing the preechos of an audio-digital signal coded by frequency transformation. The method and the system, after coding said signal by frequency transformation as a coefficient y(k), over weighting windows formed over blocks of samples x(n) comprising N successive samples, make it possible to perform, on decoding the transform coefficients y(k), an optimal filtering of KALMAN filtering type, so as to reduce, when in the presence of a transition in amplitude of the signal, the resulting additive noise when coding the quantization of the transform coefficients. Application to the processing, storage and transmission of high-fidelity quality audio digital signals. (figure 2)
