A method and system for provisioning a customized telecommunications circuit between two terminal points is provided, wherein an facilitator provisions the circuit on behalf of a customer. According to one method customer request for a circuit between the terminal points is received. A plurality of network parameters relating to the customer request are then evaluated by consulting a database of information relating to a plurality of available network segments from separate transport suppliers. At least one customized circuit option is identified, and a plurality of network segments from separate transports suppliers is linked via at least one facilitator- controlled exchange facility to form a provisioned circuit between the terminal points. Access to the provisioned circuit is then provided to the customer.
