The present invention generally relates to a method for manufacturing a projection weld connection between at least two parts (2,3) of a workpiece, whereby said workpiece remains blemish free, whereby said method is characterized by the fact that it comprises automated real-time verification of the quality of the individual weld, with out the use of destructive testing. The invention also relates to a system (1,4) implementing said method comprising, among other features, force sensor means and displacement sensor means.

L'invention concerne de manière générale un procédé pour produire une connexion au moyen d'une soudure sur bossage entre au moins deux parties (2,3) d'une pièce, sans créer d'imperfection sur cette dernière. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à vérifier en temps réel, de manière automatisée, la qualité de la soudure individuelle, sans faire appel à un contrôle destructif. L'invention concerne également un système (1,4) mettant en oeuvre ledit procédé et comprenant, entre autres, des moyens de détection de force et des moyens de détection de déplacement.
