A process is described that removes by chemical oxidation the excess ammonia (NH3) gas from flue gas that have been subjected to selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) by ammonia injection. Methods for the removal of residual ammonia from flue gas prior to fouling air pre-heaters or deposition on fly ash are discussed.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'éliminer, par oxydation chimique, l'excès de gaz ammoniac (NH3) contenu dans des gaz de carneau qui ont été soumis à une réduction catalytique sélective (SCR) et à une réduction non catalytique sélective (SNCR) des oxydes d'azote (NOx) par injection d'ammoniac. Cette invention concerne également des procédés permettant d'éliminer des résidus d'ammoniac contenus dans des gaz de carneau avant l'encrassement de réchauffeurs d'air ou dépôt sur des cendres volantes.
