According to the invention, when starting a turboshaft engine (1) in cold weather, the method comprises transferring to the hydraulic fluid of the lubrication circuit (3) of the turboshaft engine (1) at least a portion of the calorific energy scattered by the electric starter (2) and inhibiting the temperature regulation means (9, 10) of said lubrication circuit (3).

Selon l'invention, lors du démarrage dudit turbomoteur (1) par temps froid, on transfère au fluide hydraulique dudit circuit de lubrification (3) du turbomoteur (1) au moins une partie de l'énergie calorifique dissipée par le démarreur électrique (12) et on inhibe les moyens de régulation de température (9, 10) dudit circuit de lubrification (3).
