The present invention relates to a method and system for supercritical removal of an inorganic compound. The method comprising the steps of: - bringing a fluid comprising one or more inorganic fractions at supercritical conditions; - separating at least one of the fractions in the fluid; - cooling and/or depressurizing the fluid; and, - removing the at least one separated fraction.
