The invention relates to a method, a system, a base unit (1000) and a search unit (2000) for locating unknown cellular telephones and guiding the search for such devices. By means of base station functionality in the base unit (1000), mobile stations (3000) in a search area are identified and assigned dedicated communication channels. This is achieved through establishing communication between the base unit (1000) and the mobile stations (3000) in the search area. Search information concerning the mobile stations (3000) in the search area is established in the base unit (1000). The search information is transferred from the base unit (1000) to the search unit (2000). A search based on the search information is initiated with the search unit (2000).
L'invention concerne un procédé, un système, une unité de base (1000) et une unité de recherche (2000) pour localiser des téléphones cellulaires inconnus et guider la recherche concernant ces dispositifs. La fonctionnalité de station de base contenue dans l'unité de base (1000) permet l'identification des stations mobiles (3000) situées dans une zone de recherche et leur attribution à des canaux de communication dédiés. Ces opérations sont effectuées par établissement d'une communication entre l'unité de base (1000) et les stations mobiles (3000) situées dans la zone de recherche. Des informations de recherche concernant les stations mobiles (3000) situées dans la zone de recherche sont établies dans l'unité de base (1000). Les informations de recherche sont transférées de l'unité de base (1000) à l'unité de recherche (2000). Une recherche basée sur les informations de recherche est démarrée par l'unité de recherche (2000).
