The invention relates to an underground storm drainage system for buildings aimed at limiting clogging caused by iron ochre. The iron ochre phenomenon has become a virtual scourge in certain provinces of Canada, mainly Quebec, since many buildings are affected by this problem which blocks building's underground storm drainage systems with bacteria and ochre deposits. The system that is the subject of this invention includes various components, such as ducts, conduit fittings, drain "chimneys," waterproof membrane, fill material, a pump or gravity drainage system as well as the maintenance system to ensure continual drainage.

L'invention concerne un système de drainage pluvial souterrain de bâtiments visant à limiter le colmatage causé par l'ocre ferreuse. Le phénomène de l'ocre ferreuse est devenu un véritable fléau dans certaines provinces du Canada, principalement au Québec, puisque plusieurs bâtiments en sont affectés et a pour effet d'attaquer le système de drainage pluvial souterrain de bâtiments en le colmatant par la présence de bactéries et de dépôts d'ocre. Le système faisant l'objet de la présente invention comprend différentes composantes telles que des conduits, des accessoires de conduits, des cheminées de nettoyage, une membrane imperméable, un matériel de remblai, un système d'évacuation par pompage ou par gravité ainsi qu'une méthode d'entretien afin d'en assurer la pérennité.
