In order to validate a bet, a housing identifier and a validating datum representative of a reserve of available game units are stored in a file (MMP) of a main validating device (DVP). When the betting data are introduced by the player in the housing (BO), a restitution information containing these betting data as well as the housing identifier is constituted and this information is restored in sound form to a telephone station (PT). The corresponding telephone signal is then transmitted to a voice server (SV) which restores the data introduced by the player in decrypted form. The game units corresponding to the betting data received are then compared with the reserve of game units, for validating or not validating the bet. Thus there is no transmission of any indication concerning an effective payment for the bet by the telephone line between the housing (BO) and the voice server (SV).
Pour valider une prise de pari, on stocke dans un fichier (MMP) d'un dispositif principal de validation (DVP) un identifiant de boîtier et une donnée de validation représentative d'une réserve d'unités de jeu disponibles. Lorsque les données de pari sont introduites par le joueur dans le boîtier (BO), on constitue une information de restitution contenant ces données de pari ainsi que l'identifiant du boîtier et on restitue cette information sous forme acoustique vers un poste téléphonique (PT). Le signal téléphonique correspondant est alors transmis à un serveur vocal (SV) qui restitue en clair les données introduites par le joueur. On compare ensuite les unités de jeu correspondant aux données de pari reçues avec la réserve d'unités de jeu, pour valider ou non la prise de pari. Il n'y a donc aucune transmission d'indication relative à un paiement effectif de la prise de pari par l'intermédiaire de la ligne téléphonique entre le boîtier (BO) et le serveur vocal (SV).
