The invention relates to an assistance, implemented by computer and video means, to the refinement of sport gestures, comprising the following steps: obtaining (S 1), from a system for photographing the body of a sportsman, images of relative movement of parts of the body relative to a selected reference base which can advantageously be another part of the body; classifying (T4), in a database, the movements in at least two categories comprising, on the one hand, the movements that have made it possible to perform an effective gesture (S5) and, on the other hand, the movements that have not made it possible to perform an effective gesture (S6); processing (T7, T9, S8) the content of the database so as to define a restricted set of essential parameters (a, ?, ?) for the performance of an effective gesture, which makes it possible to define (S10) training instructions for the sportsmen simply from this restricted set of parameters.

L'invention concerne une assistance, mise en oeuvre par des moyens informatiques et vidéos, au perfectionnement de gestes sportifs, comprenant les étapes : obtenir (S1), à partir d'un système de prise de vue du corps d'un sportif, des images de mouvements relatifs de parties du corps par rapport à un référentiel choisi qui peut être avantageusement une autre partie du corps; classer (T4) dans une base de données les mouvements en au moins deux catégories comportant, d'une part, les mouvements qui ont permis de réaliser un geste efficace (S5) et, d'autre part, les mouvements qui n'ont pas permis de réaliser un geste efficace (S6); traiter (T7, T9, S8) le contenu de la base de données de manière à définir un jeu restreint de paramètres (.alpha., .omega., .gamma.) essentiels pour la réalisation d'un geste efficace, ce qui permet de définir (S10) des consignes d'entraînement du sportif simplement à partir de ce jeu restreint de paramètres.
