The invention relates to a method and a transmission device for transmitting program data or service data, and for coding data for coding the program or service data in periodically repeated burst intervals corresponding to each program or service (A, B) in a digital television transmission system which has an adjustable ratio of the quantity of the program or service data for each program or service (A, B) to the quantity of the corresponding coding data, to the program data or service data belonging to individual programs or services (A, B) divisible into multiple subquantities of program or service data, and wherein said digital television transmission system has for each subquantity a different adjustable ratio of the quantity of program or service data to the quantity of corresponding coding data at constant length (.DELTA.tA; .DELTA.tA', .DELTA.tA'; .DELTA.tA1, .DELTA.tA2, .DELTA.tA3, .DELTA.tA4) of the corresponding burst interval of the corresponding program or service (A, B).
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'émission permettant le transfert de données de programme ou de service et de données de codage destinées au codage des données de programme ou de service, par intervalles de transmission en rafales à répétition périodique, appartenant au programme ou au service (A, B), dans un système de transmission télévisée numérique. Selon l'invention, le rapport entre le nombre des données de programme ou de service appartenant au programme ou au service (A, B) et le nombre des données de codage correspondantes est ajustable aux données de programme ou de service appartenant à chaque programme ou service (A, B) individuel, ces données de programme ou de service pouvant être réparties en plusieurs sous-ensembles de données de programme ou de service. Pour chaque sous-ensemble, ce rapport entre le nombre des données de programme ou de service et le nombre des données de codage correspondantes est ajustable à chaque fois d'une manière différente pour une longueur constante (.DELTA.tA; .DELTA.tA', .DELTA.tA'; .DELTA.tA1, .DELTA.tA2, .DELTA.tA3, .DELTA.tA4) de l'intervalle de transmission en rafales du programme ou du service (A, B) corespondant.
